Hello everyone that’s February all done and dusted a few more traders and a few layouts have now been confirmed for the show please see our Exhibition page for more information.
A while back we mentioned that things had been happening within the club well we are please to say that our new in house club layout is up and running with 4 separately controlled lines capable of running either DCC or Analogue control systems running on a two level system with sidings and passing loops to hold trains and carry out shunting, these will be fully operational in due course as our aim is to ensure smooth running and reliability first, once we are happy with the running we will start to look at what scenery will be appropriate for the layout.
Will aim to get some pictures up soon when I next visit the club.
If you are interested in helping with this club project or are completely new to the world of model railways then please pop down and see us on a Wednesday or Friday night from 19:30 until 22:00 at the United Reformed Church in Heavitree Exeter where you will find a warm and friendly atmosphere with members of all ages who will be happy to talk to you and answer your questions.

Hello everyone sorry for the lack of updates since our 2018 show which was very successful, we have been working on a new club project in the main club room, building a new fixed layout for our members which sadly involved retiring our previous layout Parkers Sidings. Pictures and more details will follow this month.
Also our annual exhibition dates have been set for Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th June 2019 visit our Exhibition page for more information.
On the 13th of August club members and their families attended the fish & chip evening on the South Devon Railway with over 30 of us enjoying the evenings events with the trip from Buckfastleigh to Totnes and return.
As a club we highly recommend this event and the South Devon Railway to any family or group wishing to experience something a little different and see the beautiful river dart in all’s it’s glory.
