Welcome to the EXE Model Railway Society home pages

The Society has been in existence for around 40 years, this is about who we are, what we do and where we are.

Located in the city of Exeter, Capital of Devon.

In the Exeter Community Centre on St David’s Hill across the road from

The Model Shop ,club room to the rear.

Short distance from St David’s and Central railway stations as well as the city centre.

Meeting most Friday evenings about 7:30pm. Every day available for members.

In existence for over 40 years covering a variety of modelling scales and gauges with individual members interest even more diverse.

Large library of books and magazines available to members.

Large continuous “OO” gauge layout.

Small American “HO” with “HOn3” incorporated.

Modest “N” layout under repair.

New “OO” gauge exhibition layout in early construction stages.

Small collection of layouts acquired over many years

Annual exhibition and “At Home” open day.

Numerous competition and club theme nights.
